Using the Photo Tools in Ad Manager

USING THE PHOTO TOOLS IN AD MANAGER

Under the Tools Menu, there are three tools that can be used to add images to the data……Load Site Photos, Load Face Photos and Image Processing.

LOAD SITE PHOTOS

NOTE: IN ORDER TO USE THIS TOOL TO LOAD SITE PHOTOS, THE PHOTO MUST BE NAMED USING THE NUMBER FIELD ON THE SITE DETAILS PAGE. IF THERE IS NOTHING ENTERED IN THIS FIELD ON THE SITE DATA, THE TOOL CANNOT BE USED.

Click Tools>Load Site Photos…….. Browse and select the Folder where the Site Photos are located.

Click <OK> and Ad Manager to load photos to the Site(s) on the Images page.

LOAD FACE PHOTOS

NOTE: IN ORDER TO USE THIS TOOL TO LOAD FACE PHOTOS, THE PHOTO MUST BE NAMED USING THE NUMBER FIELD ON THE FACE DETAILS PAGE. IF THERE IS NOTHING ENTERED IN THIS FIELD ON THE FACE DATA, THE TOOL CANNOT BE USED.

Click Tools>Load Face Photos…….. Browse and select the Folder where the Face Photos are located.

Click <OK> and Ad Manager to load photos to the Faces on the Images page.

IMAGE PROCESSING TOOL

Click Tools>Image Processing The Image Processing window will open.

In the top left side of the window select the required folder where the Images have been saved.

Once it is selected, a listing of all saved Images will appear.

The bottom left side of the window is used to preview any selected Image in the list. Click the the checkbox beside “Preview Image” to have it appear.

The right side of this window is used to identify the Ad Manager object(s) to which you are adding the Images.

In the bottom right side, select Site(s), Face(s) or Posting(s) as appropriate. Enter selection criteria for the listing you desire and click <Find>.

The top portion of the right side will display a list of those Site(s), Face(s) or Posting Task(s) which match the criteria that has been entered.

Associating the Image(s) with either a Face, Site or Posting, is done by selecting it/them from the list of Images at the top left and then either:-

a) Select the Face/Site/Posting from the top right, then click the <Add> button OR b) Clicking and dragging to the corresponding Face/Site/Posting

You can associate more than one Image to a Site/Face, if desired, by multi-selecting them using either the <Shift> or <Ctrl> keys.

When associating Images with Postings, you can only select one at a time if you wish to identify the selected Image as being either the Close-Up Image or Approach Image for completion POP reporting. A check box will appear on the right side to do this.

All Images associated using this tool will now appear on the Images page of either the Face/Site/Posting Task.
